Wings & Wellies, formerly known as St George's Preschool, has been operational since 1969. We are a charity run preschool, focused on providing early years education, for children of ages rising 2.5 to 5 years. We offer a fun, innovative and engaging curriculum, within a large hall and outdoor play area. We fully understand that each child is unique and has their own individual needs. Therefore, we strive to individually develop their intellectual, physical, emotional, social and linguistic skills that are necessary for building their confidence in readiness for attending school.

Our main aim is to let each child learn at their own pace through play, exploring, interaction and trial & error in order to become independent and resilient learners.

We've handpicked a team of staff who absolutely love what they do and are dedicated to children. They're not only highly trained and skilled, but they also have the experience needed for early education. We take pride in our team and their commitment to creating the best learning environment for your child. We want our parents to feel confident that their little one is happy and well taken care of. Each day, we make it our mission to meet every child's emotional needs and interests, all while respecting their unique individuality in a safe and nurturing space.
